HR contacts

Hey guys,

I have a 3.8 gpa at a top 10 engineering school, but our business is school is a non-target top 30. I want to know, is there anyway to get contact info for hr departments at some BB and MM firms so I can send some emails out early, before the recruitment process begins. My school doesn't really have a huge alumni base in IB but I have contacted an associate at a BB and he's going to try to help me along, but I know that isn't enough. Also, I was wondering if I should join SEO, or whether I could since I'm a non business school major.

Thanks for the possible help

jfahnbulI am only going to be a sophomore. Does SEO not cater to sophs???

you can certainly apply, but i've heard form MANY that they got rejected their soph year but got in their junior year...so apply, but dont loose motivation to apply your junior year also.

I wouldn't rely on SEO, its pretty competitive. I would try to focus on alumni, as HR seems to have a much smaller role in the IB recruiting process.
