Joint VS Double Major in Econ/Math
I would like to ask, is a joint major in Economics and Mathematics looked down upon when comparing it to an Economics and Mathematics double major? And then ideally a minor in CS.
Or do you think a CS/Econ joint degree is more worth it?
Does it really make a difference? Thank you for your time!
Either route is fine. Get a high GPA. Anyone seeing "math" knows that you can crunch numbers and you get diminishing returns quickly. Math-econ with a minor in CS is a solid combo. So is a double major.
I opted for a double major in Finance and Economics as opposed to a joint degree. Gives me an extra line item in my educaiton section and I think looks better, but I'm not a recruiter.
Looked down upon? I doubt it. Make a difference? Well I'm biased
