JPM Securities is heritage Bear Stearns PWM. JPM has their own PB/PWM, but the business model is vastly different than heritage Bear Stearns PWM (intergrated team vs. old school brokers). Bear PWM brokers did not want to change to how JPM did business and since the bear brokers were highly successful (and brought in a nice chunck of revenue), JPM management decided to not mess with what isn't broken.

One is PWM under Asset Management. The other is S&T.

Strengths--culture, leadership, balance sheet, growth....lets put it this way, can you really find something that they are bad at?

Not exactly sure what you are asking? If your still in school then you enter an analyst program---they would be separate programs. You can lateral hire into them if they are looking for people/you have a contact.

It's their S&T group that falls under the IB division.
