Low on summer options what to do advice?

I am a junior at W.P. Carey School of Business and I am currently low on options for the summer. I interviewed at BB for S&T and I have 2 more BB leads...and 1 strong networked boutique lead.

I got rejected from the super-day I had for BB S&T and I am trying to figure out options for this summer in case I don't find an internship involving the markets.

I can stay here this summer and take a finance class, an external reporting class, a management class and a supply chain management class...all required for graduation. This would advance my graduation by a semester. At the same time I am in Tempe which is 5min from Phoenix and there are allot of companies and financial advisors here.

While taking these summer courses; I could try and land an internship with a local financial advisor (Smith Barney, edward jones ect...), but would this be respected by a BB S&T division come senior year FT recruiting? Would I be wasting my time?

Any ideas? beside reading trading books and trading on my own account (can't put that on paper).

I am committed

Hang out at the pool, fuck co-eds, drink brews, blow chowder; I could go on but I think you get the picture. I can tell you, all of us who are actually working wish we were doing what I said to do..

I have been doing that all year - on my free time lol. ivoteforthatguy that's a great idea, but what about actual work experience.

That's just assuming that all job options are closed. Work is better of course. But a research project (some profs have the funds to actually pay you a stipend) beats some menial nonsense, particularly if you already have one of those unpaid PWM internships under your belt.
