CRM Software
Just curious if any brokers(or anyone else, really) is using any of the multitudes of CRM software that's out there. I'm in the process of picking between a couple because I've grown tired of dealing with Excel and post-its and my whiteboard to keep track of things. At a certain point it's just too much. Anyone have any luck or are they all just a mess of a different kind?
My group (sponsor/operator) just implemented Salesforce for pipeline, investor tracking, and portfolio management administrative purposes. It was a ton of leg work up front but I have to say I don't miss keeping track of things in 100 different spreadsheets. I'd say its definitely been a value add for us.
Salesforce, no questions asked.
Salesforce
I got a free 6 months with client look. i prefer it over my experience with salesforce.
Salesforce makes things easy
we use infusionsoft, it's gotten a lot better since we first started with it a few years back
Interesting, thanks for the responses guys! There are just so many out there, and it's such a time investment to really try each one out properly, thanks for the help.
We use Apto which is run on salesforce. It's a bitch to learn but seems like it will be worth it.
My company just implemented Smartsheet.
If you're prepared to spend the money and get it implemented properly, Salesforce all day.
For your size, go with Close.io or Pipedrive.
It's more suited for the single worker or small team and focused on the actual sales person (rather than the sales management, like Salesforce).
That's interesting, thanks. Yeah one of the issues I've noticed with Salesforce is that it seems like it's more for managing a team of 100 salespeople, I just really need something to keep track of my own shit.
Salesforce's got a new interface, The Lightening Experience, which is more user friendly.
It is. Think of it like this. Who does Salesforce sell to? Not the reps, but to the management. So all that customizability is just superfluous stuff for you. Get something you like putting data into, is intuitive and go from there.
Close.io has a free trial and so does Pipedrive (I think). Try them out and worst case, move on.

Hi,
I'm looking for a good software solution to manage our deal sourcing and lead management. Since we have a proactive aproache, with lots of contact and calls, our current system (Micros.based) cant handel the data.
Does anyone work with an good system? Any recommendations? Who are the big player in this software market?
Thanks for your help.

Salesforce is a huge player in this. I haven't worked with it all that much but I've heard decent things.
Thanks, but salesforce is only providing the platform? Are there any industry specific solutions based on salesforce?
Salesforce SHOULD provide lead management solutions, along with a host of other solutions on their CRM platform. You can also take a look at RightNow & NetSuite, and SAP/Oracle are bound to have some sort of CRM system that does what you are looking for.
Agreed, I worked in a small PE shop with a cold-call sourcing model and they used Salesforce to handle contact info.
Oracle's Siebel does that as well, but it's garbage. Have to role with Salesforce's CRM solution.
Thanks guys...salesforce is already preparing an offer! We should be the first european office using their tool..lets see
