Career Resources
Will be Sloan or Booth for me. Leaning towards Sloan.
Booth!
50/50 now between Darden and Wharton. Darden is free, Wharton is 1/3 scholarship. I am interested in entrepreneurship, and I think I will be in a better entrepreneurial network at Wharton, but I'm not sure exactly how much better it is. They pump out a lot of propaganda about startups, but I don't know how much of a difference it will make to me. The other issue is environment. I prefer Charlottesville to Philly.
Between Tuck, Yale SOM and Stern for me for management consulting (hopefully in ny).
wannabeballer-- I'd take the money from Wharton and never look back.
M6A1H7, are there other factors besides career goals? Tuck would seem the easy choice for strength of consulting recruitment between those three.
My girlfriend is in New York, that was the major factor keeping NYU in the game. I ended up choosing Tuck and am comfortable with my choice.
M6A1H7, which did you end up choosing? I liked Yale quite a bit and think it could do quite well in about ten years (in terms of top ten ranking).
I picked Tuck. Their management consulting and M/B/B placement coupled with their fervent alumni tipped the scale for me.
Someone is angry that you got into Kellogg; you got monkey shitted.
Tuck.
Agree about @wannabeballer - I think the network and access you'd have during and after your time at Wharton would be huge. Not to mention the semester in San Fran. Plus you have some money there.
Harvard, though hoping to cross register at Sloan as well.
I guess you are 29? surprised to see HBS recruting post-27-year-old folks... Congrats!!
Actually i'm quite a bit younger than 29. My username is strictly for anonymity.

Johnson for me! Looking to move from AM to IB, maybe Corp. Dev.
Hope everyone enjoys their accepted student weekends that are coming up (if they haven't passed already).
@OpsDude, what's your background?
London School of Economics. Looking for a move to consulting.
