With the financial meltdown, NYC's decline has officially begun. Jobs and wealth are leaving the city; soon, real estate will crash, and crime will skyrocket.

the entire country is getting hurt, but NYC a lot more so, because it's driven almost entirely by finance. when the city revenues dry up, things will get pretty bad.
