Over the hill...

is 30 too old to intern and gain experience? I fiigure by the time i graduate i'll be 32.(I'd major in Math/Econ UCLA)

Or should i just opt to go a different route entirely(Possibly Comp sci)?

Also, i don't have any type of military service or anything of that nature. I just pissed away my early twenties for no good reason.

Knew a guy at a Big 4 who was over his 30s... had a hipster haircut... seemed to work hard... seemed like a nice guy. Oddly enough, the older you are the less you're expected to say. I suppose they expect wisdom comes in small portions, a young fellow is allowed to make mistakes and you aren't. I hope you understand when you walk into the door your margin of error is 0.

you're right, far too old. I mean you've lived for a whole 30 years, probably got around another 50 to go, so definitely not worth pursuing a decent life. In fact, because you've wasted 5-7 years already, you should waste the next 50.

never too late to start anything you truly want to do. I wouldnt go for the intern route, do you have any experience in anything at all? How about cash reserves, do you have sufficient to finance other opportunities, or ties to a particular location?

Would be a waste if you graduated at 32 with no experience in your field. As mentioned before, your margin of error is slim to none.
