They list out all the former employers of MBA students - Big 4 generally had 5-10 students in each class, generally from PwC & Deloitte and a couple from EY - none from KPMG
Depends on what group, your chances will differ. Was your 3.9 from a target undergrad? Do you have strong extracurricular activities? I would say HBS is still a reach. That said, here is the estimated employer breakdown MistaBooks was talking about: http://poetsandquants.com/2011/08/15/top-feeder-companies-to-harvard-bu…
Not scientific but useful in rough approximations/comparisons
You also have to keep in mind that most people in Big 4 don't even want to go to MBA. Majority of the people either do Big 4 a couple of years and go into industry in an accounting related function or try to push for the partner track. The way that the accounting industry is structured is that basically Big 4 + CPA is kind of the equivalent of a MBA.
what is the type of placement that PwC ts advisory has in M7 ? I got a 730 GMAT and 3.9 gpa if that also helps. Also what is the type of exit ops for this position and at what stage of career ? Also Finance not Accounting major
probably have a pretty good shot at M7, exit ops ibanking, Asset Management, private equity, etc. the stats are in line with M7, and PwC TAS is pretty solid.

Hi all,
I just got a summer internship offer from PwC's Consumer Finance Group. For those who might not be familiar with this group, it is a group whose practice comprises of half audit work and half consulting work.
I would like to know if this is a good place to start my career to get into top business schools.
You'll probably need to get the Manager title before you're taken seriously as an applicant. That'll take you 4-6 years after you graduate from college.
Agree with Everything Sucks. I saw people from a Big 4 (not PwC) go to a number of top schools (Chicago, Penn, Yale, Duke, NYU, Cal, Columbia) but all as managers with one exception. Taking advantage of the advantages of the Big 4 like doing a rotation abroad is good as well.
There have been many great comebacks throughout history. Jesus was dead but then came back as an all-powerful God-Zombie.

All depends on your line of service though, as you might as well be working for a different company entirely if your doing audit vs. consulting vs. ts

You have good enough stats to get into a school that is good enough for a legit career change.
good enough for columbia/harvard/penn ?
or tuck/booth/stern ?
^^ It is impossible to say, you should realize that, there are so many variables they look at.

u have a good shot.
are you a yiddisicup?
im going to say no b/c i have no idea what that is...and how long into career are those exit ops possible ?
start applying to programs in your 3rd year of TAS, 2 years of MBA (do it full time, or not at all), then exit ops.
