All depends on your line of service though, as you might as well be working for a different company entirely if your doing audit vs. consulting vs. ts

 

You also have to keep in mind that most people in Big 4 don't even want to go to MBA. Majority of the people either do Big 4 a couple of years and go into industry in an accounting related function or try to push for the partner track. The way that the accounting industry is structured is that basically Big 4 + CPA is kind of the equivalent of a MBA.

 

You'll probably need to get the Manager title before you're taken seriously as an applicant. That'll take you 4-6 years after you graduate from college.

Agree with Everything Sucks. I saw people from a Big 4 (not PwC) go to a number of top schools (Chicago, Penn, Yale, Duke, NYU, Cal, Columbia) but all as managers with one exception. Taking advantage of the advantages of the Big 4 like doing a rotation abroad is good as well.
