...I didnt realize they had IB...
I've found that most commercial banks have an IB unit of some sorts. Might not be huge but most have a cap markets/IB arm. I think RBS is much bigger in Europe.
Is this surprising? Aren't they trying to sell-off their entire IB unit right now anyways? In any case, I'm pretty sure GS/MS and other top BBs have also slashed bonuses by similar amounts.
