Recent Non-Target Finance Grad Resume - Pls Advise
Hi All,
Recently graduated from a very non-target SUNY school, but have some good internships under the belt to compensate.

I got lazy and starred the personal infos out, but the workex is all in latest->earliest order.
This is just a general resume, so there's no specific active job intent here - the idea is to see how it holds up to your scrutiny.
Couple concerns I have with my own resume are -
-
Too Short? In order to make it more digestible, I've really tried to cut down the fat on my work ex - the theory being I can add color in the interview phase - has the trimming gone too far?
-
I've omitted my CFA June 2010 Level I exam candidacy, since results will be out in a few days. I'm definitely rewriting if I fail. Where should I plug that item in?
Also, at this early stage in career, does it make any sense to include good SAT scores and college club presidencies?
TIA, your feedback is appreciated.
On the surface your resume is very solid. However, you need to sell your experiences better. You have great grades (summa graduate), leadership experience (ROTC), great language skills (you know 4 languages) but the descriptions of your work experience are so bland. If you can spruce up the work experience descriptions I think you should be able to land some interviews. I would change the format of your resume as well. They have a great section on resume format and how to use "action words" and "tweak" your experiences to cater to what interviewers want.
