Riveria Investment Group

Hey everyone,

Anyone hear about this NY based PE firm (Riveria Investment Group)? Anyone know of its interview process. I gotta a first round with them soon, so wanted to know if anyone on here knows anything at all about them. Thank you!

Had a friend that worked there. Basically a start-up fund with one senior guy only. The interview process seemed thorough though (a few cases, an actual stock pitch, etc.).

Hmm.. Brown_2009_NYCFinance looking (suspiciously) like the bottom analyst on the website

He deleted his comment so I guess I was right

Mediocre firm, even seems like he spelled it wrong (wtf is Riveria?). Not as much a PE group as an investment group with one guy leading the way. Talked with one of their associates (don't want to ruin the guy's rep) and he was very average and plain. Basically sounds like they have limited funds with which to invest and expect a longer holding period.

Anyway, they look at small deals. They list companies up to $15mm EBITDA, but other than Empire, I doubt any of their other acquisitions were over $6mm. We were in contact w/them on a deal and their IOI was dogshit.

I'd stay where you are and look for a better exit op.
