Rugby World Cup

So guys, RWC is already on semifinal stages, and for those who have been following, who do you think will advance to the final and who will be the champions? maybe we can get a poll on that ;-). I go for Wales and New Zealand, with Wales winning the final, what do you guys think?. Cheers!

 

I think it pretty much took the sting - and excitement - out of the tournament when Ireland beat Australia, resulting in two halves being drawn with a guaranteed Northern Hemisphere-Southern Hemisphere final.

Make no mistake about it, Aus-NZ should be the final and not the semis - I don't see either Wales or France stopping the winner of the Aus-NZ tie, which I would just expect the All Blacks to shade even in the absence of Dan Carter.

Wallabies were piss poor against an ageing South Africa today and were very, very lucky to scrape through. Throw in their disastrous performance against Ireland and there simply are too many questions surrounding their consistency to pose any serious threat to the AB's on home soil.

Wales are the only team that have actually played well throughout this competition.

NZ? did you see that first half against Argentina? Australia fluked their way past a SA side, looking pretty dismal.

France have redeemed themselves against England, and I'm really glad it put the N/S split into the knockout stages, guarantees a N v S final. Wales have the best chance they will ever have to win this.

I'm not sure the french will be fired up enough against wales, they dont have the same rivalry.

Just my thoughts.
