BTbanker:

What's the diff between "financial economics" and "economics" majors at Vandy since they don't have a B-school?

I would choose Vandy, but that's just me.

Financial econ is a minor, the major is just regular econ. Does that make a difference when comparing to Emory Econ/NYU Econ?

I think so, given the fact that you have Stern and Goizetta guys gunning for banking jobs, you will be on the back burner for recruiting companies... but at Vandy, you're on a level playing field with the guys who want to go into banking.

That's just my thinking. I don't go to any of these schools, but the three are very different, and the type of school you want to attend should play a huge role in your decision.

I saw that you're a junior transfer... so I guess that's why Ross and McIntire are off the table, but have you applied to Kelley?

I think there's still time, (applying late I mean, my stats are well above what it takes to get in), but Kelley's workshop isn't available to junior transfers

They have a workshop for seniors too.
