VC to Brand Management
Good evening monkeys,
I am currently in college and trying to nail down my next step. I would like to take my startup experience and work as a VC associate for a couple of years. Then, I would like to leverage this into a Brand Management position. But is this a thing that is at all done, or is this akin to my childhood dream of becoming a President-Pirate-Detective? My thinking is that VC experience would actually be very useful for brand management (and possibly vice versa), but I don't really hear about this happening despite what I perceive to be some overlap.
