Hi all, I'm pretty much targeting this question to anyone with analyst experience at early stage VC funds who have been in the weeds of cap tables, waterfalls, administrative stuff with term sheets, operating agreements, etc.
What is the structure of your fund's cap table template? Do you use any software to automate analysis that might otherwise be done in Excel? If so, what software? How do you share information between yourself and other investors, portfolio companies, lawyers, etc.?
I'm looking to compare my own experience to others at VC funds.
Thanks for the info. How large is your back office? Are you aware of any 3rd party providers of the back office function for funds?
