Venture capital analysis software

Hi all, I'm pretty much targeting this question to anyone with analyst experience at early stage VC funds who have been in the weeds of cap tables, waterfalls, administrative stuff with term sheets, operating agreements, etc.

What is the structure of your fund's cap table template? Do you use any software to automate analysis that might otherwise be done in Excel? If so, what software? How do you share information between yourself and other investors, portfolio companies, lawyers, etc.?

I'm looking to compare my own experience to others at VC funds.

We use Excel for cap tables (and a back office finance team to manage everything), and lawyers for term sheets. Some companies use CapMX and other software for their internal cap tables but Excel is the most common.
