Wake Forest vs. SMU for finance (ibanking, PE)

Wake Forest vs. Southern Methodist

Which school would be better for landing a job and also for the basis for a career in finance?

SMU. I met one kid from Wake during NYC BB recruiting and even he acknowledged he was an anomaly. Met more SMU kids, and if you're into a college scene, better there too. Complete old money network, it's the good ol' boys down there and no one else.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Pretty much every BB IBank and some top boutiques recruit from McCombs. I can't say the same for SMU. If you have the option of SMU or McCombs definitely take McCombs and keep in mind Austin is considered to have the best night life for college kids in the U.S with 6th street being right around the corner.

SMU has connections to some of the biggest players in the game, every major BB has a dallas office branch. While SMU isn't the best choice for IBD it is a great place to go to school to find a hot ass girl with a rich daddy. In my view that is the ultimate win.

Gigeauxare you all kidding? Wake Forest without a doubt. Better business school, better overall school. It's name and it's ranking are only increasing.
