WallStreetOasis on your resume - Straight into banks?

How would a site like WallStreetOasis look on a resume to a bank?

Do you think any bank seeing it on the cv would automatically give the WSO owner interviews if he was at undergraduate university still?

He is basically asking in a very confusing way, if you have a profitable website, would you get interviews at banks.

To answer: Ummm, no? Because why would you work when're you're making a decent amount of money from running a site.

Thanks, but even if it was not a lot of money? Only pocket money compared to working in a bank, but with a large cult following.

If you had a site like this, helping out potentially thousands of other IB applicants, wouldn't that impress the person reading your CV? Make you look like the leader of the pack.

do you really think you're qualified to run a site to help out "thousands of other IB applicants" if you haven't even landed a job of your own yet?

Good point and I have thought of that. However I have some high up contacts and the right approach where anyone would want to go on it, even without the experience.

Only thing I am trying to gauze into is to will it help my applications much. The thing is a lot of tricks of the trade would go out in the site, making the competition more fierce for myself.
