What about listing your online business?

I have an online e-commerce business. Would it be bad to list on my resume for banking positions? Will it show that I'm not dedicated and possibly may not have time for banking, or will it show I take initiative and am a leader?

nah I'm a polo player and I'm importing polo accessories from argentina that are not widely available in the states. i'm not involved in anything but making a couple of strategic decisions. shipping is outsourced too.

I don't want to make a big deal out of it, just list it under activities. Should I make a bullet point for it?

Shows initiative and drive etc. I don't think putting it under activities or something could hurt you...disregard my previous post btw...

Could you post some tangible, or at least provable, outcomes from your business and maybe a brief description? Like you made xxx dollars or generated blah blah blah? That might give people a better idea as to how to answer your question. E-commerce is fairly broad and, as shortheworld said, you could just be selling your stinky star on craigslist in which case the answer would be a no.
