What's this division? Need a banker's advice
Can somebody who's in banking tell me what JPMorgan's Treasury & Securities Services (TSS) division is all about?
Would a summer in TSS land me FT IB interviews? The previous mentions of this division on this board and elsewhere on the internet seem sparse. Any JPM people out there who know what TSS folks actually do, what they earn, and what exit ops they have?
I'm striking out with IBD interviews and am running out of options for next summer.
Thanks for any help!
Just a guess, but it sounds like it'd be a corporate treasury position. I'm not sure it's directly relevant to IBD, but these days, you take what you can get. Personally, I'd take a front-office position if you can get one.
My first guess was that maybe they deal with US Govt debt, but that seems unlikely considering the "Securities Services" division.
It's part of Chase and not part of JPMorgan. Won't really help with IB... will help with commercial banking if you (god forbid) want to go that route.
Thanks. Anybody else have any knowledge of this job?
