Hi Everyone,
I have an interview for a Data Research Analyst position at William O'Neil's Los Angeles office.
I wanted to find out peoples thoughts in regards to their reputation, the department and/or culture?
Let me know your thoughts. Also if anyone has taken the exam for the company, I would like to learn more about it.
Thanks

I'm not too sure about the company itself, but everyone knows William O'Neill, so it at least has a big name. However, their research methodology seems to be very specific and a lot different from traditional ER's fundamental analysis. So I would assume limited exit opportunities. Many fundamental equity analysts also have strong opinions against IBD's methodologies. (While it does supposedly compete with the WSJ, many experts say that newspaper is trash and serves only momentum strategies.) That said, William O'Neill is still mentioned as one of the most prominent investors. See what you find out about the firm, but I'm going to say the experience won't be like traditional ER.
