Winton Capital Graduate Scheme - is this back/middle office?
Not sure what to make of the scheme. The business stream of the grad scheme entails that you will complete three, four-month rotations in three of the following business divisions:
• Investment Operations (middle office, trade support, treasury)
• Investment Solutions (business development, client strategies, investor services)
• Business Support & Audit (fund administration, due diligence, compliance, finance, HR)
• Winton Ventures (data science venture capital)
Is this a primarily back/middle office role?

Winton is a quant fund. What you've described is definitely not front office at a quant fund.
Even so, Winton is an excellent fund.
