Let's say you didn't get a bank, that doesn't affect your shot at SEO. I had an offer for a BB-IBD Internship and took SEO instead knowing that it would provide a better fit and more rounded experience in investment banking. Most interns (85%) receive offers and you have a chance to network across the street.

Heads up. If you interview for both banks and seo and lets say you get rejected by a bank, then seo cannot place you at that particular bank. So be careful about how many banks you interview with if you are also going to apply to seo.

You may be correct, but in the seo interview they told me you couldn't be placed at bank where you already got rejected. Who knows though...

sorry i didnt make my question completely clear. If given the choice, I'd rather go through the process myself than go through SEO. SEO is only my backup plan incase nothing works out. In that case, SEO cant possibly hurt right?
