What banks got the day off?
I have a hard time believing anyone shut down for Ford. I know you and I didn't, Bateman.
Lehman in NYC didn't have to work.
I heard Merrill was closed.
Equity markets were, bonds were half day, and a few brave men like those in my group worked until after 10 pm.
My Fund-of-hedge-fund was open.
My fund was open too, but it was a quiet chill day. Traders didn't come in, but the PMs/Analysts were in.
Was as crappy if not worse than any other day, since most people got of their vacations and getting the wheels turning
No day off here in Sales
early close
What the fuck is Ford?
Considering Gerald Ford died at the end of December '06, my guess is they were talking about him
