Investment Banking Muni Finance Summer Analyst

An MD of the Municipal Finance group called, introduced himself and the position. Interview was not technical at all, although there is little technical info that needs to be known for Muni interviews from my experience. Asked me to explain my story, walk through resume, why pub fin? how are my excel skills? explain a recent in-depth excel project I've worked on, went into my previous experiences with debt structures (know debt tranches), how I would manage in a group environment, how I would handle long hours. Biggest point was why pub fin, and sell them on that over corp fin / lev fin / ER etc.
