Usually not a whole lot except other AM and maybe HF if you're really good. There is a bonus, and it tends to be comparable to sell-side (if we're talking front office for both) at the lower levels. Progression is slower though.

 

yes you would get a bonus. Somewhere between 10-30k. I believe JPM AM gives first years a stub bonus in december (which is for about 3 months of work besides training) and then a full bonus the following December. The stub usually works to screw you over. But, stub was 7k standard when I was there, and the full year bonus depends on your ranking but was 15-20k ish, I was in PB, wouldn't be surprised if IM was paid more.
