Wine Investment PM
Hi,
I've been offered a role in a relatively young wine investment firm in the UK as portfolio manager. I have some knowledge of asset management world but this is not a typical asset. I have good knowledge of wine. From my understanding the role entails talking to wealthy investors and advise them on a portfolio of producers, regions, vintages to keep based on their interest and well of historical returns.
My other option is to stay within the FP&A at a relatively small firm in tech industry where I have been for the past 3/4 years.
Any advice if I go in as a PM i can then transfer to a more traditional alternative asset management?
Thanks
