Depends heavily which school you're coming from. Base could be as low as 60 or as high as 75 first year.
55K
i don't know about canada, but this is my experience (i worked for deloitte in major office, non nyc)
1st year analyst (straight out of undergrad): ~55-60k 2nd year analyst: ~60-65k
1st year analyst (w/ masters straight out of undergrad): ~60-65k 2nd year analyst: ~65-70k
no signing bonuses for any recent class that i am aware of...largely due to the fact that people will take any job for almost any pay given our shitty economy.
times are not as good as they once were.
Numbers above are either old, or for tech..
Friend at target undergrad will be getting 70k base 10k signing for S&O at major east coast office.
S&O is unique in deloitte....just as MCDP for accenture, etc. S&O is not the same as deloittes advisory practice, which majority of people work in....but yes, S&O pays significantly more.
Yes, I was talking about S&O, but that's what I assumed the OP meant when he said strategy analyst (not a real title - OP probably meant business analyst). But yes, starting salary is dependent on the school you're going to, the office you'll be working in, and what other offers you have. I've heard of the starting base salary being as high as 75K.
A friend will be starting Deloitte BTA position this summer - 70k base, 10k signing in a major east coast office.
Non-MBA Sr. Consultant Comp at Deloitte Consulting? (Originally Posted: 04/02/2014)
My college buddy reached out to me recently asking if I knew any non-MBA senior consultants who could shed some light on their compensation. I do, but no one that I'm comfortable asking. The post-MBA Sr Consultant compensation package is often discussed, but can anyone shed some light on non-MBA? He's deciding between getting his MBA now, or joining Deloitte as a Senior Consultant and waiting two years to get his MBA paid for.
Is your friend looking at Federal or Commercial? S&O, HC, or Tech? How many years of experience prior? The short answer is that it varies within what the firm calls "paybands." But the SC band is the most interesting because of the MBA vs. non MBA distinction.
