I want to break into investment banking.
I am looking for some advice on how to break into Equity Capital Markets, or failing that front office investment banking in general.
My age is 21.
I possess a first class economics degree from the University of Leicester in Economics. I was a top student.
I have attended a prestigious summer tansfer to Princeton for finance. GPA 3.7/4.0.
I will soon have a masters in finance degree from a UK top 5 university. Graduating 2011.
I have completed 1 internship in Asset Management with Circa 500 million AUM.
1 internship in a commercial bank relating to risk.
I have recently sat the CFA level 2 exam. Also I have a few extra currcular activities such as finance society vice president and sports related activities.
I interviewed at Standard Bank and UniCredit during my bachelors but did not recieve an offer. I was hoping on gaining some advice on how to increase my application chances because I know I 100% want to gain an investment banking job.
