Introduction - 28 year old

Good morning everyone,

To start my introduction, I’m a 28 year old male that hails from a very redneck infested part of the confederacy, Deep East Texas. Luckily, I live in Dallas, so there aren’t many rednecks.

I’m an operations accountant for a large private equity backed health services firm in Dallas, with a background in public accounting for hospitals. I have a BBA degree with a concentration in accounting, with the hunger to return to graduate school for more strategery learnins’.

I dream of working for Goldman Sachs in their health care IBD or some tech role. Even their controllers group is smexy. Unfortunately, a BBA from a state school with 3.4 GPA doesn’t cut the sheese.

I’m also an avid casual gamer. I’ve built computers, was part of the debate team in high school, and wig out anytime I see a Marvel/Hobbit/LOTR/DC? movie trailer. I also play D&D with my brother-in-law at the local comic shop. My soon to be wife (this November 17th) is my best friend, and supports all my decisions, good and bad ;).

I’ve come to WSO after years of reading the forums, and finally wish to contribute my .2 cents, albeit they probably aren’t worth the Lincolns.

I apologize for all the pronouns - damn forums ;)
