is this a joke? you have already had 4 banking internships
my guess is you're probably a former private school kid who goes to either BU/BC/Bentely judging by your first internship (which was probably in greenwich or stamford), you probably have some major pull with your dad or his friends company
im sure landing a full time should be no problem for you
Solid resume. You're a shoe-in at least for first round interviews.
Keep crushing it.
Don't create a bullet tree for your transaction experience when you really only have one bullet under it. If you want to emphasize that you have transaction experience, incorporate that into your action sentence. I'd recommend changing "Other Activities" to something like "Leadership Experience" or "Extracurricular Activities" because "other" sounds like your just marginalizing it. Also your internships speak for your finance experience, try putting something else down for some diversity.
Your FIG SA stint wording needs work. The first bullet point is poorly organized and worded and may cause problems for clarity. The second bullet point needs to be more specific, otherwise it just sounds like your throwing out generic finance related work and that you're trying to make it sound like you did something other than get coffee and make copies all summer.
Good luck for FT recruiting, as other people have already said you have a good shot.
You already have good work experience...
If you don't get any offers it's because you're not a good cultural fit or because you blew your interviews.
Good resume, but I would question you working at 2 investment banking gigs at once...
Thanks guys. Glad I found out about this website freshman year and busted my ass networking to get those internships. Wish my parents worked at a BB, it would've been much easier!
The place I'm at now is fine, I like the people, but DCM isn't exactly what I thought it would be. There isn't a lot of due diligence on the companies and it's far more transaction oriented than I imagined. Not to mention I'm doing a lot of database work which doesn't teach me much.
Interested to hear any other opinions.
This is probably one of the strongest resumes I've seen... Incredible. I don't really think I have any advice for you, as I feel like you are a shoe-in.
How are you working at 2 banks at once?
Obviously your resume is strong. Out of curiosity, how do you work at 2 banks at once?
Thanks for the responses guys. The second bank I am working at is less than 5 hours per week. The majority of my work was done during the school year and my boss knows I am working FT at another bank so he only calls me when he has small assignments he needs a hand with (he's not too good with powerpoint or excel so I help out on that stuff). It's a very small operation, under 10 people. Thanks again for the help guys.
Just noticed a small thing: "with over 6,000 inputs &" -- is this a complete bullet?
