just made my very first resume...please review...what do I do to get first round interviews for Junior Year S&T SA
I'm a soph at a target and made a resume for the first time...I'm posting here just to get feedback on what I'm doing right or wrong, and what should I do to maximize the number of first round interviews I get junior year...I made this resume so i can get something my sophomore summer or something during the school year (at a boutique, smaller HF etc)

yea the debate team is from HS...i don't really have much more to put under the work & leadership experience section (as of now) if I remove the debate team experience...I'm hoping to use this resume to get some sort of school year internship or sophomore summer internship, so I can remove the debate team stuff entirely and replace it with an internship before i apply to BB SA programs in junior year...what do you guys think about the finance club experience (the first entry) ? are some of my bullet points for the ER analyst portion repetitive/redundant?
It looks good. You framed the finance club stuff pretty well. My only recommendation is change some of the verbs. You have "used" twice and "assisted" three times.
Definitely a strong first attempt. A few things I would work on:
Make sure each bullet point leads off with a verb - "Won" in one bullet and "winner" in another - the "winner" should lead off with a verb, and rather than double "won," one of the verbs could be "earned," or "received," etc.
Work on punching up a few of your phrases and verbs, but this is common to most people - "Used" "Assisted" - it's fine to use these verbs, but try to punch up at least some of the experiences with more powerful action verbs.
Break up Work Experience and Leadership Experience into 2 separate sections. You are young, so a short work experience history is not bad at all. Your work experience should be the Research Analyst spot, and the Leadership experience should be Senate Committee and Debate Team.
Although Debate team is from HS, until either you get one more year of schooling or one more internship - whichever comes first, it is alright to leave it on - essentially, for your age and considering the experience is decent, you can keep it on for another year.
For some little things, take out the "/4.0" from your GPAs, remove the extra space between your colons (GPA : 3.7 becomes GPA: 3.7), change languages to Langauge Proficiencies: XXXXX, East Asian Language (conversational).

I forgot to clarify...i actually have NO work experience in an actual firm/company, the research analyst thing is for the on campus finance/investment club, and part of what we do in that club is pick a firm, analyze it using DCF, relative valuation etc, and pitch it in the end....is it ok to include that as "Work Experience" even though it's not in an actual firm?
No that isn't considered work experience...
No, that is not work experience - in that case, keep your experience in 1 section and change it to Leadership and Professional Experience.

I was thinking of changing it to Extracurricular & Leadership Experience...also, in the finance club, I had 2 positions, one is the research analyst position, and the other is the Outreach Chair/Director, both with different time periods...should I split up the Finance Club experience into 2 separate sections, with each section describing the 2 different positions I had?
Ya change it to EC & L Exp -- that would be a fair representation of your work. It's not necessary to separate them into two different sections.
I would keep the experience under the same primary title, but break up the bullet points into 2 sub sections for each position - something like this:
Finance Club (Bold) Location Outreach Chair (Italics) Dates Bullet points (Half Space between) Research Analyst (Italics) Dates Bullet Points
I am assuming that outreach chair is the most recent position, as you will want to lead off with your most recent position.
Regarding "Professional" Experience, I said Professional since it is not technically Work Experience, but it is Professional Experience in that it is experience directly relating to your professional aspirations. You could absolutely go with "Extracurricular and Leadership Experience" if you feel more comfortable with that - Professional is definitely close to Work, so the safer route would be Extracurricular - then again, it doesn't make a huge difference either way - go with whichever you are most comfortable with.

Another option would be to use "Related Experience" to avoid the whole Work/Professional/EC Experience debate.
