Please roast my resume - any advice helps a young Canadian boy trying to break into IB or REPE

Resume Any advice or insight is appreciated :) Looking to break into REPE or IB for my last summer term. There are still some boutiques and smaller shops that are recruiting in Toronto in January.

Most Helpful
  • No GPA is a red flag, also would list any scholarships or case competition wins under education and remove coursework titles, pretty meaningless (unless you got As in them, in which case list the A)
  • Leadership section dates are not shortened unlike work exp section dates (ie September vs Sep), also the one's that are listed as - Current should be on top
    • Leadership section but just a finance club member? Change leadership to extracurriculars or something
  • For Investments Group SA, provide more detail on the $20mm+ deals you worked on, also, abbreviate the larger numbers into something like mm, and be consistent with usage
  • Overall provide more detail on bullet points on specifics, if you don't know how to write them out, google "QUIC resume book"
  • Google Analytics certification is pretty useless and taking up space with just 1 certification, delete
