Should I only aim for the stars?
Hi guys,
First time posting here on the forum. I'm looking into IBD internships at BBs this summer. Is this resume good enough or should I apply to boutiques and MM firms as well? Thanks a million!
Cheers

P.S. don't mind the weird alignment of the Cambridge bullet point. It got screwed up somehow when I converted the file in Razume.
You are cambridge old boy!! of course you shoot for the stars!!
Haven't even looked at your resume, but no one is foolproof for BBs. Definitely apply to boutiques and MMs. You can always pull out of the interview process, but you cannot enter the process once it starts.

Apply to all the banking firms. Worst case the MMs that your not interested can serve as practice interviews for the BBs.
Thanks for the comments guys. What do you all think about the resume itself though? Any areas that need more clarification or polishing? Thx
It's good. Apply to all banking though. Your resume can be thrown out because of something random like ... "i don't like his name."
And don't look down on boutiques. There are plenty of boutiques that I'd take over BBs, especially the middle- and lower-tier ones. Not that there's any official tiering--I'm just talking about my own mental list.
P.S. Get some additional interests / extracurriculars on your resume, if you're a guy. Ballroom dance and calligraphy may not win you any points if your interviewer's primary interests are college football and triathlons, if you get my drift. With your interests / ECs as they currently are, I hope you're ready to talk a lot about soccer!
Your experiences themselves are about the level of quality of interns who interned at the bank I worked for (a BB). If you have other types of campus leadership / community leadership, I would be sure to include that over the more trivial stuff (dancing, etc.) Also, it would serve you well to talk about the impact of your work instead of merely describing what you did. Anything that shows you took initiative should also be highlighted.
I wrote a post about the do's and don'ts of resume writing below, good luck.
