what do you guys think? is this a good ranking of the trading groups at top BBs? Or does it only cover a few desks

The best desk is one which maximizes your profit potential. This depends on:

  1. The product (more importantly your ability within a product)
  2. The client base of the firm (amt of flow)
  3. The presence of a mentor
  4. Your risk limits (responsibility) which is directly related to 1

Notice how only one is relevant on which bank you are at, rankings are largely irrelevant.
