Bocconi undergrad has a good reputation in the US and places its undergrads into MFE programs here. I don't know how their graduate program does with UK banks.

If you can, I'd look at Oxford and LSE. Polytechnique (Paris) is also highly regarded in the quant space, a margin more than Bocconi, and I would think that reputation would make it over the English Channel if not to the US.

Remember, unless you're applying directly out of undergrad, you can always give the application process another go next year.

You can do a lot worse than Bocconi, but all else being equal, I'd go with LSE if you can get in and if you can afford it.

no because i do not want to be a quant I want an internship in S&T

So then why are you getting a graduate degree in quantitative finance?

I thought you wanted to run a stat arb portfolio. Sell side S&T is a perfectly good goal, too, though.

Still, I'd ask on quantnet. The banks, at least in the US, all interview through the same recruiting process. Your #1 question needs to be whether and how much on-campus recruiting there is at Bocconi for people pursuing this degree.
