Are partner salaries in PE, HF or VC higher on average than BB IBD MD?
At senior levels such as partner at Private Equity, Hedge Fund or Venture Capital firms is the compensation higher on average then what Bulge Bracket Managing Directors in Investment Banking make?
I wouldn't doubt it.
There has been every permutation of this question on this board. Just worry about getting your own paper and stop fantasizing about all the big dogs at the top firms.
On average, I would reckon the salaries are about equal. But then you have outliers where the potential for earning is tremedous and simply can't be matched by banking.
PE, HF is where you make the big bucks. I've heard in many places that PE, HF makes IBs look like their bitches
