AE Loafers

Recently got these as a gift and was wondering if they are okay to wear to networking events and information sessions? I am still in college and don't want it to seem like I spend all my money on shoes. I got them in the brown.
What do you guys think?

I would not worry too much about shoes. People at the networking events are busy talking to groups of people so they won't even notice.

I like those a lot -- I have a brown pair that I wear all the time. I wouldn't wear them with a suit, but outside of that they double up as professional and everyday wear (yes, I dress like a 40 year old man bro).

Those are sexy. Funny how the people in here are really liking them and all working individuals, if I was still in undergrad I would probably think that was an atrocious gift.
