America's Stock Market Thrives Under Democrats?

I found this to be pretty interesting. The general perception seems to be that Democrats are responsible for stifling government regulations, therefore the Republicans are the white knights of the street.

Government regulation benefits existing players. Also, the stock market doesn't equal the general economy. One could argue that the run up in the stock market under the current administration is a result of monetary policy and not anything that the President has done.
