Barclays Wall Street Boot Camp 2011
Hello people,
Has anyone received any feedback from Barclays regarding the ibanking boot camp that's supposed to take place in January of next year? We were supposed to know the results by yesterday but I haven't gotten a response, not even a rejection letter or anything. I checked the website where I applied and it just says my application has been received and is under review. Thanks for your help.

Same.. No response at all, no status change on the application. Does that means we're on a "waitlist" or does anyone know if they contacted people they were selecting yet?
I know that acceptances have been sent to at least some applicants.

No response = Waiting List. Get on the phone to them and be really enthusiastic.
Egotisticalcapi, about how many people do you think have gotten responses? Clarkey, have you had any experience with being on the waiting list with this program at Barclays? When do you recommend I call, during this weekend or early on Monday?
No, but a friend of mine had a similar deal going on in London. Call first thing Monday morning.
I've also heard of guys who have not made it through to certain programmes (such as Spring Insight) but have been condoled with a Summer gig. If you are on a waiting list then they like you. If you find out that you haven't got a place then ask if there is anything else they can offer you.
I got an email saying i wasn't selected but my application will still be considered for a SA position and I don't have to re apply
It's my understanding that the program has 40-50 slots available. No idea how many acceptances were sent.
There were 650+ applicants. I networked the hell out of it at all their on-campus presentations here, with their campus reps, their diversity recruiters, everything. I still got rejected but waitlisted into Generation Next, the sophomore SA program. I believe the program overall had 45 slots. Best wishes to anyone who got it.
How do you know that? Are you reading the message I have in my inbox? Are you at my target, did you watch the way I interacted with the reps and the campus team from the divisions I'm interested in?
Not trying to be a douche, but seriously, it seems really arrogant to me that you're literally going to tell me something that's contrary to fact when you have no basis. Unless you're the BarCap HR rep who sent it, don't talk to me.
