Canaccord Adams - How is deal flow and exit opps?
Just looking to see what people think of Canaccord. I'm looking at a potential position at the old Adams, Harkness, & Hill in Boston. How is deal flow, exit ops, workload, etc?

Career Resources
I have little expierence with them myself. But for what its worth, I met with two MD's from a Bulge Bracket firm who were raving about them.
Canaccord is based out of Vancouver Canada. They specialize in advising junior mining companies and also helping them gain listing on the AIM in the UK. They're doing very well right now b/c of the resources boom and I believe they have really good deal flow. One negative thing about them is that rumours have it that they were actively engaged in "pump and dump", shady type of work back in the days. Some people have even called them "Scamaccord". That was a while back and I haven't really heard anything negative nowadays. Again, this is based on my knowledge of them in Canada. Unsure about Boston.
Any more thoughts on Canaccord Adams? My firm is looking to hire someone from this firm and I have never heard of CA before. Is it a legit place to work? The guy seems pretty sharp, but I want to make sure the firm is at least decent. Thanks.
From a students perspective, take it as you will, CA seems like one of the premier MM investment banks in Canada, similar to GMP and Dundee my 2cents
What an awful, awful, stinking firm. Third-tier at best.
