Considering this is probably

Considering this is probably the first time throughout the credit disaster that CS has been mentioned, I'll take that as very good news. CS and Deutsche both have a lot to be singing about. They're the best-capitalized banks and they saw several of the banks they were chasing for league table spots disappear (Lehman, Merrill) or take big hits (UBS).

I kind of expected these guys to make some big ex-LEH or MER hires throughout this mess but it seems like they've been pretty quiet. Looks like those wily Swiss folk are just playing it safe and riding out the storm.

Erin Callan (former Lehman CEO) and several other Lehman bankers jumped ship to CS earlier this year before they went under.

I can imagine that Erin is picking up all those prime brokerage clients that are scared to work with the former monolines.

CFO guys

Callan was CFO (not CEO) of Lehman, and got 'moved' within Lehman a few months before they went under...soon after her 'movement' she got hired by CS as head of global hedge fund business or something, they made a new position for her.
