Chat Certified Users -> Invite only

I'm proposing the chat is changed from CU's to Invite only. There are some people on here that would like to take advantage of the chat function but can't because of some idiots a year ago.

One way to do this: create a special class similar to the Cert User class. A person who would like to be invited has to not only receive an invitation, but prove their identity (student email which should include their name, maybe driver's license, something).

Gives those of us that aren't complete morons the opportunity to shoot the shit with the certs in real time.

sounds pretty immature. nobody wants to give that kind of info on a forum. I propose to open the chat for all OPs who have posted any thread that has drawn responses beyond a certain number like 30 or so. That shows the ability of the poster to start an intersting conversation therfore is valuable for a chat room. I'm waiting for my invitation. and all you guys know I deserve one.

Do you understand what the certified users are? They're people who have verified their identity with the site. If you want to be able to get into the chat and shoot the shit with guys that are in-industry, WSO needs to have some way of coming back at you if you reveal their identities.

The issue here isn't being able to start up a conversation, the issue is jackass college kids who out other members' identities and break the ToS agreement.
