C&IB at PNC
Well I just made it to second rounds of PNC internship interviews. In the email it told me that it would be for the C&IB division (Corporate and Institutional Banking). First off is this investment banking? Also, since I am only a freshman what should I be prepared for? I have not had any core business classes, so will this interview be mostly behavioral? Thanks.
Within the C&I banking group at PNC they have it split like this:
Asset & Liability Management
Capital Markets Group -Derivatives S&T -Fixed Income S&T -FX S&T -Financial Institutions Group
Debt capital Markets -Loan Syndications -Equity Sponsors Group
Financial Services Advisory & Banking Group -Asset Backed Securities
Structured Product Group
Hope that helps. PM me for more info
Theres a decent chance that they have him just interviewing for Corporate Banking...as these days PNC has done 3 broad Corporate Banking interview tracks (Corporate Banking/Credit, Capital Markets (the stuff you mentioned above) and Treasury Management).
