No work because don't start until interns finish. Training is standard, meant to be fun because everyone is relaxed and living in London for the first time for many.
from what I've heard its a really fun 6 or so weeks.
It is TEN weeks. You heard me right... 10 weeks in London living in a sweet, sweet pad.
What? Core Asset? Please elaborate.
10 weeks. Words cannot describe the awesomeness. Best time of everyone's lives.
The training itself sucks but, yes, the experience of being in London and getting to explore the city is very valuable.
I think they alternate each year. Sometimes NYC sometimes London. Training is longer than most, but a great time.

Hi all,
I have secured an analyst position at Deutsche where I will be starting in the Summer of 2016. HR informed me that there will be a 10 week training program in London starting in July, but have not given me any further details yet (I believe that all the specifics will only be sent in mid-late March)
I have scoured all of WSO for information on Deutsche's London training program and although I have found a couple of threads about it, nothing was very detailed.
Has anybody participated/know somebody who has participated in the program?
What's the daily schedule like? In which area of London do the incoming analysts stay? How intensive and rigorous are the courses of study? Does the bank usually schedule events on the weekends or are they free?
Obviously the bank will give me all of the details closer to the time but I'm just curious to hear about the experience from an analyst's perspective.
Thanks in advance!
A friend of mine was there last summer. Analyst across all divisions will be in London. There will be firm wide training and division specific training. Lots of networking events. It's not and should not be intensive. Just relax and enjoy the city before sitting at your desk non stop.
