My emails are being marked as spam

I've been cold emailing a bunch of bankers lately and one or two of the replies have come back with the subject line as "Re: ****SPAM**** ...." indicating that they were caught by the spam filter on their end.

If my emails are being marked as spam then they might not be seen, or even if they are seen they will probably not be regarded as well. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from a happening? Thanks.

Stopping including ads for viagra and cialis in your e-mails.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.

Ok thanks. Had it happen previously and have reached out to some higher guys at the bank and after no response remembered the email issue before. Just didn't want to forward the emails from my college email if they didn't goto spam and were just sitting in their inboxs

When I shoot out cold emails, I always use my school email and write XXX University Student Seeking Advice. I've had over half my emails answered if that gives any more legitimacy to my suggestions.

That's dumb, when I put XXX in my email subjects it always gets flagged as spam.
