FICC Players Changing Their Biz Models
I wanted to get some opinions on how the FICC business is changing amongst different banks.
I recently saw an article that Goldman Sachs is, from what I understood from the article, switching to more of an agency model as opposed to acting as principal and warehousing risk.

I also noticed that JP Morgan and Cit seem to be holding strong(ER) to their FICC businesses. Does this hint that larger banks that hold deposits like Citi and JP Morgan will emerge as the bigger FICC players in the future (as opposed to Goldman and Morgan Stanley, whom have a lower asset base)? Are they better setup to handle the capital requirements because of their larger asset base?
