Foros Group: pay and other information?

Take a look at their team and recent transactions, and tell me they aren't the next elite boutique.

What are they paying these Ivy League juniors over there to get them out of top-tier BBs?

Not saying they're not great or growing or what have you but two things: a) Looking at their analysts' backgrounds, they look great (better than mine was) but not that different from most high-end boutiques: a bunch of Ivy-leaguers with a grab bag of finance and non-finance internships, some more impressive than others.

b) Their client list is CLASSIC boutique word-smithing. Looking at the first three transactions they list, two (RX and IDC) trumpet "Sole-Advisor" when really they were a advisor to a board committee and took home a smaller fee than the bulge-bracket bank that was the company's "true" financial advisor (though their fee for RX was pretty impressive). and the third (Medco) their fee wasn't disclosed (not because it was really big).

There have been many great comebacks throughout history. Jesus was dead but then came back as an all-powerful God-Zombie.
